Sprinter Panel Van

The Sprinter panel van sets the benchmark for load-carrying capacity. Thanks to a fourth body length and the super-high roof, the Sprinter panel van boasts a capacity of up to 17 m³ and a maximum payload of 2710 kg. Prefer something a little smaller? No problem. With its variable load compartment, the panel van is just as varied as the fields it operates in.

Sprinter Traveliner

Passenger-friendly rating: the combination of comfort, spaciousness and variability make the Sprinter Traveliner an inviting conveyance for up to nine persons. Its flexible load space with three body lengths, two roof heights and a permissible GVW of up to 3500 kg offers a need-adapted practical solution to every transport problem.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Eco

With today’s fuel prices, the cost of refuelling forms a significant part of vehicle ownership costs. The nature of urban driving increases fuel consumption and therefore exhaust / CO2 emissions and running costs. A significant part of this fuel consumption is caused by engines idling whilst stationary in traffic.
The ECO-Start system, available as a factory-fitted option on all Sprinter models with 4-cylinder diesel engines and manual transmission provides an intelligent and low-cost solution to reduce engine idling. ECO-Start offers a simple, no-compromise solution to improving vehicle running costs and environmental impact.

How ECO-Start works
ECO-Start is activated by the driver using a control switch on the instrument panel. When the system is active it will stop the engine whenever the vehicle is stationery for more than two seconds if the gearbox is in neutral and the clutch has been released. The engine then restarts automatically when the driver depresses the clutch.
Using the system saves fuel, and cuts vehicle emissions, noise and engine wear. In an urban environment the savings can be substantial: depending on driving style and traffic density, fuel consumption can be cut by as much as 10%*, allowing the ECO-Start option to pay for itself and offer further savings throughout the vehicle’s lifespan.

Is it safe to shut off the engine?
Safety is provided by sophisticated electronics.
If the vehicle starts to move, the engine is started to ensure that servo assistance for the steering and brakes is maintained. In all other cases the engine does not re-start until the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
If the battery voltage is low or if an attempt by the system to start the engine has failed, the ECO-Start function is deactivated.
In addition, the system’s safety logic checks whether the bonnet is closed to make sure that no one can be injured if the engine suddenly starts.
To avoid cold starts and also overheating, the system only operates at coolant temperatures of between 40°C and 100°C.
The comfort of the vehicle’s occupants is also taken into account: when the outside temperature is below freezing point, the engine is not switched off.

  • Base Chassis
    We provide the chassis. You provide the imagination. Together we fulfil the need. The Base Chassis model comes ready for your custom solution. Available in three different wheelbases, and with either single or crew-cab configuration.
  • Dropside
    The Sprinter Dropside offers practical solutions for the widest range of trades, with the options of three different vehicle lengths, and the choice of single of double cabs. With productivity on mind, the flatbed has been designed so two Euro pallets can sit side by side.
    The ex-factory Dropside has a replaceable plywood load deck with weight-saving aluminium side boards, tailboard and rear corner posts. However, we can to work together with you and local bodybuilders to package a solution that meets your specific requirements.
  • Tipper
    Carrying sand, gravel or earth? For ´fluid´ loads such as these you need a Sprinter Tipper. The body is pivoted on a sub-frame mounted on the chassis, usually made from corrosion-protected steel for durability, with a electro-hydraulic under-floor lift mechanism.
    The sideboards and tail are made from double-skinned aluminium, which is lightweight but strong. The headboard and gantry provide cab protection and load security. The tipping function is operated by a dash-mounted control or, for increased flexibility, a 'wander lead'. When not required as a tipper, this model can double-up as a dropside for solid loads.
  • Luton
    Luton vans offer exceptional cubic capacity. They have flat floors and sides to maximise available space, plus additional load space over the cab. The Luton head provides up to 3m³ of additional load space and is usually made from fibreglass to minimise weight.
    You can specify the materials you wish for construction, but typically the floor will be plywood with GRP side and roof panels. A roller shutter door is the the most popular option. A tail lift can be installed to aid loading.
  • Box
    With its simple geometry, the box van is a straightforward solution and popular choice for delivery companies and other firms needing to transport high volumes.
    The floor is usually plywood with front, side and roof panels in GRP. A translucent roof panel can be installed to allow daylight illumination of the interior. For heavy loads, a tail lift can be installed. Rear entry is usually a roller shutter for ease of use, but you can specify requirements to suit your individual needs.
